My name is Megan and I’m currently a junior at St. Olaf College in the bustling town of Northfield, Minnesota. At school, I am pursuing a double major in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies with a minor in Statistics (try saying that fast 10 times). This semester (fall 2018), I am studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden with DIS. I’m originally from the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area, so needless to say I’m ready to take on the Swedish winter.
In Stockholm, I’m taking Forensic Psychology as my core course (which will include a week long study tour to Scotland)! I will also be taking Human Trafficking & the Sex Trade, Swedish Language & Culture, and Medical Ethics. In addition, I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to work as a research assistant with Professor Anna Cavallin on the project Children, Clothing, and Swedish Societal Norms.
I hope you’ll follow me along on my adventures navigating Scandinavia and Europe for 4 months!
